Dr Ute I Scholl (MD, DipSEM, DPH cantab.)

Ute Scholl combines the knowledge gained as a fully qualified medical doctor currently working in sports medicine and rehabilitation with her experience as an international fencer, as a fencing coach and Tai Chi and Qi Gong teacher. Working with a range of elite athletes she has used her medical expertise to guide their development and to implement injury prevention programmes.



Ute graduated in Medicine in 1986 from the Medical Faculty in Cologne University, Germany. She holds a doctorate in Immunobiology from the University of Cologne, Germany. She has extensive work experience in Molecular Biology, Oncology, HIV patient care and was head of the department of GUM at Torbay Hospital before studying sports and exercise medicine at the University of Bath, UK. She worked most recently in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Preventive Medicine at Medical Park, St Hubertus in Bad Wiessee.
